Green Bay, WI--Bay Beach Amusement Park is opening tomorrow for the summer and workers are busy making the final tweeks on rides so it's safe for riders for the big day tomorrow.

It takes weeks of preparation. "Well today we're finishing up little last minute things" says Jason Arnoldi, Special Facilities Manager. "We're just tweeking everything to make sure everybody has a good day" says Chris Denil, Facilities and Equipment Manager.

Checking rides and stocking concession stands just some of the last minute things to get Bay Beach Amusement Park ready to go for the crowds tomorrow but maintenance is a year-round process for all the rides. “It's always ongoing but of course this last week is a little bit crazy" says Denil.

Last year 26 thousand riders came out to the park and leaders think this year will be just as busy. “We’re hoping that with the good weather that we'll have even more this year" says Arnoldi.

The park even added two new rides this year. They have the Rockn' Tug and the Bay Beast. "We want to continue to add rides. Whenever we add new rides like that it adds excitement and it sustains the momentum" says Arnoldi.

The rides were donated to the park through a partnership with friends of Bay Beach. “We love what we do, we have a passion for the park, so it's well worth it especially once you see everybody here having fun" says Arnoldi. "I’m excited to see what happens and like i said before I’m really excited about our new rides" says Denil.

No matter how many hours it takes to get the park ready, it's always exciting to see the community come together to have some summer fun.
