Two bartenders who inside a Sheboygan tavern during a deadly officer-involved shooting are suing the city.
Mary Heitzmann and Kurt Klessig were working at Union Tap during a robbery in July. Responding officers shot and killed the suspect. One of the bullets hit Klessig.
Both bartenders claim the officers were negligent and knowingly started shooting with innocent bystanders in the line of fire.
