No one was hurt, but a barn was destroyed by fire this afternoon in the town of New Denmark. Fire Chief Dave Bielinski of the Denmark Fire Department reports crews were called out around 3:30 to West Town Hall Road for an abandoned barn on fire. Several area departments helped extinguish the blaze. There were no livestock in the barn at the time. The cause is being investigated.
