Bail is set for two Manitowoc people allegedly involved in a three-year-old's death.
A judge put bail at $25,000 cash on Friday. This comes after police recommended charges of neglecting a child and drug offenses.
Police say the 46-year-old man and 38-year-old woman took care of the child while the child’s parents were working.
The child died from severe external and internal injuries on Saturday. The couple will be back in court on August 13.
