Wisconsin sophomore wide receiver Danny Davis will be suspended for the first two games of the 2018 football season, UW head coach Paul Chryst announced Wednesday.
Chryst said in a news release that he made the decision to suspend Davis "based on the information I have available to me at this time
"We have a high standard of conduct within our football program and we cannot accept behavior that is not consistent with that standard," Chryst said in the statement.
During the suspension, Davis will be allowed to practice with the team but won't be available for games.
