SPENCER, Wis. (AP) -- Authorities say the shooting death of a man near Spencer in central Wisconsin is being investigated as a hunting-related incident.
The Marathon County Sheriff's Office says authorities were called to a wooded area northeast of Spencer around 9:15 p.m. Sunday.
Officials have provided few details so far and haven't said if they consider the shooting suspicious.
The name of the 50-year-old man has not been released.
Marathon County sheriff's deputies and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources are investigating.
