Seven men face federal charges after what Brown County authorities say is the biggest meth bust they've seen.
More then 10 pounds of methamphetamine, with a street value of about $400,000, was seized in the drug bust.
The Brown County Drug Task Force joined multiple law enforcement agencies across the country and arrested five of the men over the past 4-5 weeks.
A federal grand jury in Milwaukee indicted the 7 men on different charges ranging from conspiracy to distribute meth, possession of firearms and kidnapping.
"The drug task force has investigated large scale Methamphetamine organizations in the past," said Lt. John Rousseau with the Brown County Drug Task Force. "We had a really large one in 2015, and whenever you have a big arrest like that, whenever you take away a supply there is still a demand."
The men charged are:
- Christopher Maccani, 37, of Green Bay
- Jimmy Desotell, 25, of Green Bay
- Christopher Champine, 35, Green Bay
- Umero Saldana, Jr,, 39, of Green Bay
- Ryan Pieper, 33, of De Pere
- Joshua Sepulveda, 34, of Denmark
- Levester Brown, 33, of Milwaukee
Five of the men are being held in the Brown County Jail, but two are still at large: Umero Saldana, Jr. and Joshua Sepulveda.
The investigation is still ongoing.
