Thursday afternoon the Milwaukee Police Department announced that 24 homicides were recorded in the city during the month of August.
That makes it Milwaukee's deadliest month in 25 years. Surpassing the total of July 1991, the month police discovered remains inside Jeffrey Dahmer's apartment.
