A young girl named Aubree is doing her part to help make sure our local veterans know they are remembered and appreciated.
Today she hosted an event in Appleton to make Blanket for Veterans.
Each blanket made is donated to Express Air Medical Transport which helps veterans get around in a fixed wing air ambulance.
About one year ago, Aubree Leitermann came up with the idea and has been collecting donations to help make the blankets possible. Since it began, she has donated about 200 blankets.
Today friends, family, classmates and members of the community worked hard to make 100 new blankets,
