Assembly passes liquor license bill

Two more liquor licenses could be coming to Ashwaubenon for the Packers' Titletown District. The State Assembly passed the measure on Tuesday.

The village has run out of liquor licenses, but under the proposal it could get two more since the Packers' development project costs more than $20 million. It would also allow Ashwaubenon to purchase liquor licenses from other communities that have extras.

The bill now heads to the State Senate.
