Ashwaubenon Public Safety is devoting time to bringing awareness to seatbelt use. According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation a little over 80 percent of drivers regularly buckle up. Officers with Ashwaubenon hope their campaign will bring awareness to the issue, " if we can get a couple more people to buckle up that's worth it," said Scott Fassbender. Under Wisconsin Law a seatbelt ticket is $10 dollars.
