Manitowoc deputies report the arrest of a suspect who investigators say vandalized the Maribel Caves last month. 24-year-old Brandon Mueller of Green Bay man was taken into custody on Friday. Mueller is due in court Monday afternoon. The charges include: Felony Criminal Damage to Property, and Misdemeanor charges of trespassing, theft and criminal damage to property.
The crime was reported on July 13th. According to deputies, Mueller cut through a lock on a secure door and caused extensive damage to the New Hope Cave.
