The Appleton Police Department reports an arrest has been made in connection with an armed robbery in the 1200 block of N.Badger Avenue.

Investigators say a business was held up just after 10:30 Thursday morning. Witnesses were able to describe the suspect. Officers were able to locate the suspect at a used car dealership on S. Commercial Street where the man was taken into custody.

He is in the Outagamie County jail facing charges or armed robbery.

The robbery forced five schools in the area to go into lockdown. That lockdown has been lifted with no injuries reported.
