UPDATE: Deputies were able to remotely open the mailbox, finding only mail inside. No suspicious packages or items were located. The scene is beginning to clear and the investigation in to who made the threat is ongoing.

On Thursday, the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office dispatch center received a phone call in regard to a possible bomb threat at Culver's, 4225 Highway 42 in the town of Sheboyan.
The caller advised they should check their mailbox and made reference to a bomb, according to the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office. Deputies responded to the area, evacuating nearby businesses. Highway 42 is closed in the immediate area, as well as Dairyland Drive.
The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released after the situation has ended and roads reopen.
