Appleton area robbery suspects arrested

On Wednesday, related armed robberies were reported in Appleton and the town of Menasha. 

The Appleton incident happened at about 5:25 p.m. in the 100 block of East College Avenue and the town of Menasha incident took place in the 2500 block of Honey Lou Court at about 10:05 p.m.

Investigators from both agencies teamed together to make arrests on Thursday. The two suspects targeted known victims and confronted them with a firearm while demanding cash. Neither victim was injured.

The two primary suspects have been identified, arrested and confined to the Outagamie County Jail. The investigation is continuing Thursday and more information will be available Friday. Appleton and town of Menasha Police Departments indicate these were not random crimes.
