Appleton Police report the arrest of a suspect they say robbed the Horicon Bank on July 13th. The crime happened just after 5:00 PM at the bank located on 100 E. Midway Road. Shortly after the incident, police released pictures of the crime to the public.

According to Appleton investigators, a deputy recognized a vehilce, belonging to Kurt A Windus, from Sun Prairie, and took him into custody. He is currently in the Dane Co. jail on a probation violation. Investigators say they are recommending a charge of Robbery of a Financial Institution with the Calumet District Attorney's Office
