An Appleton family is safe after a fire early Sunday morning.
The Appleton Fire Department was called out to a home at 3131 N. Durkee Street at 1:12 a.m.
When firefighters arrived there was a lot of smoke but everyone was out of the home.
Crews were able to perform a quick attack and were met with high heat and minimal visibility. They were able to put the fire out.
The home has fire and smoke damage. Investigators are still on scene and the fire remains under investigation.
