Flags are flying at half-staff in Appleton in honor of National Police Week to honor those who keep us safe. Appleton Police Dept. Chief Todd Thomas says it's a reminder just how much officers give in the line of duty, "Whether we work in Green Bay or Appleton, Milwaukee, Baltimore, or New York, we all face the same struggles and it's gives us time to pause and respect," said Thomas.
