Appleton police are are investigating a home invasion and armed robbery. It happened Wednesday afternoon on the 400 block of East Lincoln Street. Officers say a small group of people entered the home and used a handgun to rob a person inside. The suspect left in a car.
Police do not believe this is a random crime. The victim did suffer a minor injury.
