The world’s largest airline adds Appleton to its destinations. American Airlines first flight from Appleton International Airport took off Wednesday. American Airlines will fly two flights from Appleton to Chicago each day.
"It’s about community growth and community needs and we talked with businesses and travelers who wanted for choices and more flights,” said ATW Executive Director Abe Weber.
It's the first time in 52 years American Airlines will fly out of Appleton.
