The State Fire Marshall's Office ruled the fire at the China King restaurant and apartments in downtown Clintonville accidental. Investigators say it started in the flood between the restaurant and the apartments located above the business that housed a family of five. Everyone was able to get out of the building safely and the Red Cross is assisting the family.

CLINTONVILLE, Wis-- Five people are without a home after an apartment fire.
It happened around 2:15 a.m. Wednesday morning on South Main Street.
When crews arrived they found heavy smoke and flames coming from the building.
The China King Restaurant and apartments above it were completely destroyed.
Crews remained on scene Wednesday morning to investigate and put out hotspots.
The fire was contained to the restaurant and apartments; the surrounding buildings were not affected.
There is no cause at this time.
No one was injured during the fire.
