The 6th annual Fairy Walk event takes place thanks to numerous donors and sponsors in the community that want to see families enjoying nature right in their backyard.
The walk is hosted by the Kaukauna Public Library and the1,000 Island Environmental Center.
Last year more than 900 people participated in the event which offers a variety of outdoor and indoor activities as well as a fairy house competition.
There will also be a book reading by author, Linda Vender Heyden. She will read her book Mr. McGinty's Monarchs during a short story time at 6 p.m. and 6:45 p.m.
There will be a butterfly release at 5:30 p.m. 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.
While enjoying the fairy walk, children can listen to live music by Dancemann DJ Service, dance with fairy wings by our bubble machine, create a crown, wand and fairy charm bracelets.
Sponsors of the event include the Kaukauna Public Library, 1000 Islands Environmental Center, Berkers Family Dentistry, First Impressions Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics and Kaukauna Family Dentistry.
