Posted

Chances Animal Rescue in Appleton is being forced to vacate it's building in seven days and needs to find homes for nearly 100 animals. The shelter posted on it's Facebook Page they have until Monday to be moved out after receiving an eviction notice.  The non-profit organization is raising money to find a new home but will need to downsize the number of of cats and dogs in its shelters.

As one of the largest no-kill shelters, there are 60-70 dogs and 15-20 cats in need of immediate homes. Many of the dogs are bully mixes who are family friendly. The Shelter is open to appointments only Wednesday. The shelter will be open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11:00am-5:00pm for families to stop by and find a pet that would fit in their family. The shelter says it is open to families willing to foster a dog or cat. Each potential pet family will be screened.
