A $62.6 million dollar expansion is coming to Alliance Laundry Systems' plant in Ripon. It will create 200 new jobs.
The company's board of directors approved the expansion on Wednesday after receiving support from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, Fond du Lac Economic Development Corporation and the city of Ripon.
Under the expansion plan, 225,000 square feet of space will be added for a new sales and marketing facility, and they will turn a warehouse into a factory.
Alliance Laundry Systems makes commercial laundry equipment.
They plan to break ground on the expansion project this summer.
