The De Pere man allegedly responsible for the deaths of a mother and daughter in Lawrence has been charged with two counts of Homicide by Intoxicated Use of a Vehicle.

David Earl Meyer allegedly hit 44-year-old Rebecca Pannenberg and her 18-year-old daughter, Raelia, while they were walking along French Road.

They were both pronounced dead at the scene by investigators.

Meyer recorded a .219 on a preliminary breath test, according to court documents. The legal limit to drive in Wisconsin is .08.

The court ordered a $50,000 cash bond for Meyer who was charged in court Friday.

Meyer's next court date was scheduled for Friday Aug. 25.
