Masonite announced plans to close Algoma Hardwoods. A news release states the move is expected to improve the comany's operational efficiencies and align the company's plant optimization portfolio.
The plant is expected to close by the end of the 3rd quarter of 2017. The number of impacted workers has not been released. Algoma Hardwoods is the maker of architectural doors, wood door frames and wall systems.
