The Winnebago County Sheriff’s office says alcohol was a major factor in a crash late Monday night.

A 40-year-old Kenosha woman was driving north on I-41 when she hit another vehicle.

She then rolled into the ditch between Black Oaks School road and I-41.

The woman needed to be extricated from her car and was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the other car was not hurt.

The sheriff’s office says that alcohol did play a role in the accident.

No roads were closed during the crash.
