Former Green Bay Packers running back Ahman Green has pleaded not guilty to charges of child abuse and disorderly conduct for an incident involving his teenage daughter.
The Packers all-time leading rusher appeared in Brown County court Thursday morning.
Court documents said Green and his 15-year-old daughter got into an argument about her doing dishes. Green allegedly asked her to do them and she did not want to, the criminal complaint said.
After the argument escalated, Green's daughter said he threw her to the ground and against kitchen cabinets, according to court documents.
She told police he also hit her in the face and ripped the collar of shirt during the argument.
According to the criminal complaint, Green admitted to hitting his daughter on the head with an open hand.
Green can't have contact with his daughter.
He will be back in court for a status hearing in December.
