Democratic attorney general hopeful Josh Kaul plans to report raising about $575,000 over the first six months of 2018.
Candidates must turn in campaign finance reports covering the first half of 2018 to the Wisconsin Ethics Commission by July 16.
Kaul spokeswoman Gillian Drummond said Friday the former federal prosecutor plans to report raising $573,737 over the first half of the year with $679,422 on hand as of June 30.
Republican Attorney General Brad Schimel’s campaign manager, Matthew Dobler, said Schimel plans to release his numbers for the first half of 2018 next week.
Schimel’s latest campaign finance reports show he raised $569,809 during 2017 and finished the year with $529,258 on hand.
