UPDATE: Brown County Sheriff’s Deputies say the scene is now clear. Deputies say there were eight crashes between CTH S and CTH U. Seven were southbound and one was northbound.
According to the sheriff’s department, crashes were investigated by Hobart/Lawrence Police Dept., Brown County Sherriff’s Office and Wisconsin State Patrol.
There were no life threatening injuries and three people were taken to the hospital.
I-41 was closed for about one hour while the scenes were cleared.
Lawrence Fire, De Pere Fire and Ashwaubenon Fire also responded. A Lawrence Fire Truck was hit and sustained minor damage.
The causes of each crash remains under investigation.
