APPLETON, Wis.- It's a surprise coffee lovers at the Copper Rock Coffee House in Appleton never saw coming.  The whole shop stunned as former President Bill Clinton walked in the door.

The coffee house was his first stop on his way to Lawrence University to campaign for his wife Hillary Clinton, for President.

"You should be upbeat about the future of this country," said President Clinton.

Hillary is receiving some major support including from Minnesota Senator and former comedian, Al Franken.

"I've known Hillary for over 20 years, she's the toughest, hardest working, most experienced person I know," said Franken.

President Clinton echoing the same statements saying his wife is more prepared than he was.

"She's smarter, she works harder and she's more ready to do the job," said former President Clinton.

He's discussing her plans to refinance student loans and work with world leaders.

"I can tell you because I've got a lot of friends around the world and they believe Hillary is the only one that can put it back together again," said President Clinton.

For those listening they're feeling hopeful.

"We need someone who's going to pull the world together and get everybody working together for the common goals," said Tina Metz of Sheboygan who's supporting Clinton.

The Clinton campaign is hoping a popular and familiar face gets them more votes heading into the April 5 primary.
