UPDATE: Century Link is reporting that landline service to southern Brown County areas of Denmark, Wayside, Morrison, New Franken, and Greenleaf has been fully restored.

According to Brown County Public Safety, Century Link landline service is not available and the public will be unable to reach 911 using a landline.
Denmark, Wayside, Morrison and Greenleaf fire departments will all have a person at their fire stations in case someone needs to go to the station for help.
Public safety said the public can still call 911 using cell phones.
The outage is expected to last several hours.
