Green Bay, WI -- A 12-year-old Appleton native who went the extra mile for a good cause will be honored at the upcoming Packers game.

Madison Middle School 7th grader, Cole Stoffel, wanted to make a difference after his 2nd grade teacher died from brain cancer.

Stoffel organized "Cole's Cancer Crusade" to help raise money for the Snowdrop Foundation.

The mile-long run, complete with an obstacle course, saw more than 170 participants.

For Stoffel, the run made sense.

"I was running 5K's and stuff like that, so running was a big part of what I do. So I started running half marathons and since I've run three half marathons," said Stoffel.

Stoffel helped raise more than $4,000 for the Snowdrop Foundation.
