Pulaski police say they took six people in custody early Friday morning after about 50 car break-ins and a car chase.

Pulaski police responded to a call at 4:18am Friday for an attempted car break-in on Arthur Boulevard. When officers arrived, the suspects took off running, got into a silver SUV, and drove off. Officers put out spike strips which stopped the car near the intersection of Velp Avenue and County Highway B in Suamico.

Police took three males and three females into custody. Three were adults and three were juveniles.

Through the investigation, officers learned the group may have broken into as many as 50 vehicles overnight in several communities, including Pulaski and Seymour. They believe the car they were riding in may have been stolen from Marinette County.

Investigators are still working on the case. We'll bring you any new information as we get it.
