Door County sheriff's department report Sunday September 2nd, a 56 year old Milwaukee man was pronounced dead, after he was hit by a car in the town of Liberty Grove. Deputies do not know why the man was lying on the road. According to the investigation, a 36 year old Sister Bay man, struck the man, after going eastbound, the driver crashed onto the pedestrian on Hill Rd. East of Hillcrest Road, in the town of Liberty Grove.
The name of the driver and the victim are not being released yet.
The crash remains under investigation.
