Ashwaubenon, WI -- The 4th H.O.O.A.H Wisconsin is hosting its 4th annual 22-mile veteran suicide awareness march Friday morning.

The starting line of the 22 or 2.2 mile rucksack march is at Stadium View Bar and Grill.

It's not a requirement, but many of the people taking part will be carrying a 22 pound backpack.

The 4th H.O.O.A.H Wisconsin is trying to raise money to fight veteran suicide.

The emphasis is being put on the number 22. The VA says 22 veterans take their own lives every day.

Organizers say community support alone can help save a life.

The organization has raised $27,000 toward their goal as of Friday morning.
