The Oshkosh Police Department is investigating a fatal crash in the 1300 block of West South Park Avenue.
Oshkosh fire and police departments responded to a report of a 4-year-old girl who was struck by a vehicle while riding her bike at 2:10 p.m. Thursday in the 1300 block of West South Park Avenue.
The girl was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. The Oshkosh Police Department Crash Investigation Team is on the scene and the crash is under investigation.
The driver of the car remained at the scene, police said. The driver has not been arrested and impairment is not suspected, according to police.
West South Park Ave has been closed between West 18th Avenue and Knapp Street. The Oshkosh Police Department will update its Facebook page when the roadway is reopened.
