Deputies arrested a 33-year-old man who lead officers on a short chase and crashed in Sheboygan County.
It happened just after 6:30 a.m. Saturday in the Town of Sheboygan.
Deputies attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation near the intersection of County Highway J and State Highway 42.
The driver didn't stop for the deputy and continued driving on State Highway 42.
The driver continued to flee officers by failing to stop for a stop sign on Main Avenue and Calumet Drive.
Then the vehicle speed off and went south on Calumet Avenue and North 14th Street.
The vehicle eventually crashed with the curb on Superior Avenue and North 14th Street.
Sheriff's deputies said the driver fled on foot and was apprehended a short distance away.
The driver is being referred to the Sheboygan County District Attorney's Office for charges of Eluding, Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Revoked Driver's License, Failure to Stop for Stop Sign and Recklessly Endangering Safety.
The driver was brought to the hospital for medical clearance.
The Sheriff's Department said two female passengers were in the vehicle at the time of the chase.
Neither of them were injured and both were released from the scene.
Besides the vehicle, no other property was damaged during this chase.
No other information is being released at this time.
