Prinsco, Inc. has provided formal notice of a planned workforce reduction at its Appleton plant. Prinsco says 33 jobs will be eliminated.
In a notice to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD), Prinsco says the company decided to consolidate manufacturing at other locations. Prinsco says it is relocating its warehousing/yard operations to a new site in Wisconsin.
33 positions will be eliminated as a result of this decision. The majority of the jobs being cut are listed as Manufacturing Tech I.
The job cuts will begin on February 4th, 2019 and will continue until the plant is completely closed and the yard is relocated by January 2020.
DWD and its regional workforce partner, the Bay Area Workforce Development Board, will provide Rapid Response services to affected workers.
