Three elementary schools went into 'secure the building-outside situation' mode at 1:22pm Monday, according to the Green Bay Area Public School District. It was lifted at 1:35pm.
Their Facebook page said it was a precautionary measure at Elmore, Fort Howard and Jefferson elementary schools. The post stated that all students were safe, and the school day would continue as normal inside the building.
The District wrote on social media that they were working with law enforcement.
