Appleton Police Department investigators are wrapping up their investigations of two robberies occurring on Wednesday. One of the robberies occurred in downtown Appleton. The other robbery occurred in the town of Menasha, on the south side of Appleton. A joint investigation of the south side incident will result in charges being requested by the town of Menasha Police Department in Winnebago County court.

As a result of the investigations, the following individuals have been arrested by the Appleton Police Department:

Alan J. Thompson, 31 of Appleton, is currently confined at the Outagamie County Jail for a probation violation. A charge of armed robbery is being requested.

Monique C. Coulthard-Keys, 21 of Menasha, is also confined at the Outagamie County Jail. Charges of armed robbery and damage to property are requested for Coulthard-Keys.

A third robbery reported in downtown Appleton on Wednesday does not appear to be connected to the aforementioned robberies.

The Menasha Police Department and the Lake Winnebago metropolitan Drug Unit made three arrests after a 2 month long drug investigation.

One suspect was trafficking heroin from his apartment in the 900 block of Third St.

Crack cocaine, weapons, and cash were also seized from the suspects’ homes.

During the investigation the Menasha Police Department warned the public to be on the lookout for discarded needles.

Jefferson Park is close to the location where the drug was being sold, and it is common for users to use the drug shortly after obtaining it.

Police are asking the public to continue looking out for any paraphernalia commonly associated with heroin use, and to report any findings to the police department.
