On Sunday evening the Manitowoc Police Department and Rescue Squad were dispatched to a North 18th St. near Wisconsin Ave. in Manitowoc near Manitowoc Aquatic Center.
They say a 2-year-old Mosinee girl darted into the street and was hit by a southbound vehicle.
Officials say the girl is suffering from life-threatening injuries. The driver, a 61-year-old Manitowoc woman, was not injured.
