MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The Latest on two University of Wisconsin System regents attending meetings after Gov. Tony Evers rescinded their appointments (all times local):

Two University of Wisconsin System regents are back at work even though Democratic Gov. Tony Evers fired them last month after a court ruling invalidated their appointments.
Republican legislators confirmed 82 of former Gov. Scott Walker’s appointees during a December lame-duck session. The group included regents Scott Beightol (BECH’-tal) and Torrey Tiedeman.
A Dane County judge last month found the session was illegal. Evers rescinded all 82 appointments.
An appeals court stayed the ruling, however, and Evers reappointed 67 of the appointees. Beightol and Tiedeman weren’t among them.
Regents President John Behling maintains their appointments remain valid in light of the stay. Beightol took his place as a member of the regent capital planning committee Thursday morning.
Both he and Tiedeman were seated at a regent finance committee meeting later Thursday without any comment on the status of their appointments.
