Two people were sent to the hospital after a house fire in Manitowoc County.
It happened around 12:30 Wednesday morning on the 8400 block of Reifs Mills Road in the Town of Kossuth.
When fire crews arrived on scene, flames were shooting from windows.
Officials said they believe the fire started in the fireplace.
Two of the three people who live at the residence were home at the time of the fire and were sent to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
The fire chief said there was major damage to the first floor.
There were no difficulties in putting out the fire.
