One person was taken to the hospital and another injured after a basement fire in the Village of Allouez.
The call came in just before 11:00 Sunday morning for a basement fire at a home on the 800 block of Karl Street.
Crews were able to quickly put out the fire and clear the house that had filled with smoke.
Fire crews say a dehumidifier in the basement caught fire. Damages is estimated at $8,000.
