A Green Bay teenager has been charged for allegedly shooting another man in a dispute over his ex-girlfriend.

Adolfo Angel Gonzales, 17, was charged with attempted first degree intentional homicide and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Gonzales is accused of shooting 19-year-old Justin Hill in the neck as he sat in his car in Allouez. She is a minor and she was there at the time of the shooting, according to the Brown County Sheriff's Office.

The shooting happened Monday night on the 2200 block of Libal Street, deputies said.

When police arrived on scene, they found the girl and the injured man applying pressure on the man's gunshot wound, according to court documents. The girl told police Gonzales was her ex-boyfriend.

She told police she and Hill were in his car talking when Gonzalez opened the driver's side door and shot Hill in the neck, court documents said.

The girl also told officers that Gonzales had made fake social media accounts attempting to contact her after they had broken up, threatening to shoot others and himself because of her, according to court documents.

Gonzales denied to police that he had anything to do with the shooting.

He is being held on a $100,000 cash bond. If convicted, he could spend up to 60 years in prison.
