There was a special holiday delivery in Oshkosh on Friday. Oshkosh Corporation and the Winnebago Home Builders Association picked up donated Toys for Tots at businesses across the city and delivered them to the Salvation Army in a U.S. Marines truck.
Volunteers say this is one of their best years yet.
"The coolest thing for me is what we just did today. Seeing all the people in the community that stand behind all this and the amount of toys from 17 years ago to like what we're going to collect today. We have much more of the community that's behind us," said Jim Kubasta with the Winnebago Home Builders Association.
Leaders estimate they collected 10,000 toys. Volunteers spent Friday counting and sorting them to get ready for distribution day next week.
