DE PERE (NBC 26) -- Uncle Mike's Bake Shoppe has three locations in Northeast Wisconsin and has been a staple in the communities they serve.

The recent coronavirus outbreak has the bake shoppe having to alter some of its workflow. The shop is well-known for their plethora of samples always out above the display case. Owner, Mike Vande Walle says it was heartbreaking to have to move them, but it was necessary for everyone's health and safety. Guests can still get a sample of the kringles, they would just need to ask for one.

The bake shoppe is also getting creative and offering something for the whole family to enjoy. Uncle Mike's Bake Shoppe now has decorating kits featuring different sweets. This week until Thursday March 26, customers can get a Easter Cookie decorating kit. It includes 12 cookies with three colored frosting, a pastry bag and a star tip to help decorate them. The whole kits costs $25. You can also enter a giveaway by sending a photo on Facebook or leaving it in the comments on this post to enter for a gift card of $20.

Each week there will be a different decorating kit. On Friday, March 27th they'll have a donut decorating kit. The following week it will be a cupcake decorating kit and then finally a 'bunny hut' decorating kit.

Unlce Mike's Bake Shoppe has won more 100 awards for baking and cake decorating.
