CASCO, Wis. — Many people celebrated June Dairy Month Sunday morning at the Kewaunee County Breakfast on the Farm.
This year's breakfast was at Kinnard Farms. It's an annual event put on by the Kewaunee County Dairy Promotion Committee.
They offered a dairy breakfast, ice cream, farm tours, and much more.
"This is the first time we've ever done it. One of the unique things about Kewaunee County is there's actually a waiting list, quite often 4 or 5 years out at a time with local farm families stepping forward, volunteering to do this," said Lee Kinnard, the owner of Kinnard Farms.
Guests were also able to see the barns, milking parlors, and how cows are cared for on a modern farm.
