HOWARD (NBC 26) — A car was recovered from a retention pond in Howard on Monday, according to Howard Fire Rescue.
According to a news release, firefighters were called to the intersection of Highway 41 and Shawano Avenue on Monday at around 7:40 a.m. for a car that left the roadway and was floating in a retention pond.
Officials say two "elderly" occupants were pulled safely to shore and were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
